Our impact in
2023

We build basic services, improve livelihoods, strengthen the rights of women and children, help communities protect against natural disasters and climate change, and respond to humanitarian emergencies.
Last year we supported over 1.5 million people across Afghanistan with this work, which included the following:

406,070

Men, women and children reached with humanitarian relief, including emergency food parcels and cash assistance.

35,450

Households helped to adapt to the changing climate, helping families better protect themselves, their homes and their livelihoods from natural disasters and extreme weather.

447,293

Women supported to enhance their economic engagement, inclusion in local governance and full participation in communities.
